 Foreword
Brief
on the River Basin
Keelung River starts from
Jingtong Mountain, Ping-Shi township, Taipei
County and joins the Danshuei River in Kwantu
area of Taipei City. The river is 86.4 km
in length, with a basin area totaling 491
km2. Keelung River is one of the three main
branches of Danshuei River and the other two
branches are Dahan River and Sindein River.
Basis
This
project, with a budget of 31.6 billion NT dollars,
was sanctioned by the Executive Yuan on May13th,
2002, and was appraised and approved by the Legislative
Yuan on July 17th, 2002.
Protection
Criteria
The goal of this project is
to meet 200-year flood criteria
